The Emergency Support Shelter has volunteer openings and is offering a series of free trainings to anyone interested in volunteering. The greatest current need is for volunteers who are willing to respond to victims of sexual assault at the Emergency Department to offer support and resources.
Volunteering is a great way to promote safety, hope and healing to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other crimes. In order to fulfill the Washington state requirements, the training's will total 30 hours. We are also always in need of volunteers who can perform some light landscaping work which requires no training.
