Domestic Violence Services

Advocacy 
We offer 24-hour crisis intervention to provide personal, non-judgmental support to female, male, and non-binary victims of domestic violence, Advocacy services include assistance with personalized safety planning, information about the affects of victimization, information about options, and advocacy based assistance with decision making. Advocates are able to provide support during court proceedings as well as during law enforcement interviews if the client wishes.

​Support Groups

Our confidential confidential groups are free and open to women in the community who are/have been victims of domestic violence.  Each session offers information about the cycle of domestic violence, safety planning or other valuable skills.

Safe Temporary Housing
We provide safe temporary shelter for female victims of domestic violence and their children. We have 16 private rooms and 5 cribs available for shelter.  The allowable stay is 60 days with extensions available in extenuating circumstances.  During their stay at the Shelter, residents can utilize the services of all programs offered by ESS for free. Services include: Information and referral services, to assistance with housing, support groups, financial aid, medical and dental assistance, education, legal and socials services, and parenting.

Our shelter is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
